Partners

CARE-NMD consists of seven contracting partners who have received funding from the European Commission's Executive Agency for Health and Consumers (EAHC).

The project is led by the University Medical Centre in Freiburg, under the direction of Project Leader Dr Janbernd Kirschner. A further six Associated Partners (APs) have defined responsibilities for developing and implementing the project within Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Poland and the United Kingdom.

In addition to the seven funded partners, there are currently unfunded Collaborating Partners in 12 countries. They benefit from access to the best-practice training and information resources being developed by CARE-NMD, and their activities extend the reach of the project beyond the funded partners.
